Tell us about your family.
I have been married to my husband, Justin since 2006. We met in school (we’ve known each other 25+ years). We have one child, Oliver who was born in 2012 and a dog named Beaux.

When/How did you begin your relationship with Jesus Christ?
I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 6 years old in the town I was born, Colorado City, Texas. It was at Vacation Bible School. It wasn’t until I was a Freshman in college that I really started to grow as a Christian.

How did you come to Lonoke Baptist Church?
My family and I moved to Lonoke when I was 6 years old and I joined the church then. I have spent most of my life growing up in this church. It wasn’t until June 2017 that I was offered and accepted the position as the ministerial assistant here at LBC.

What is your favorite scripture?
Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

What is your favorite thing about your job?
Getting to know the members of the church on a more personal basis.

What is the best thing you’ve ever eaten?
My most favorite thing to eat is fried deer steak, mashed potatoes (or rice) with gravy and a slice of cheap white bread.

What is your favorite TV show/movie?
For TV shows, my favorite is This is Us. My all-time favorite movie that I can watch any day, any time of the year is Chevy Chase Christmas Vacation.

What are your hobbies?
Painting/Crafting, chasing my child, fishing and hunting, and reading

What is one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I have been to Ireland, Scotland, Whales and England.
